Jewelry: Ring 002, 'The Neptune Ring'

As I said earlier... probably... that I was taking another Jewelry class. So for my first project, I decided on a ring but something bigger and BETTER.

Because I need a fancy bezel for this one!

So at the advice of my prof, I got some gallery wire.

Ugh, next time someone tell me that setting a sterling silver bezel is a pain in the ass. The sad part, I will probably do this again because I do not learn form art suffering. LOL. *cries*

The band looks similar to my Rose Quartz Ring but this was the exact one I wanted for that ring but I wasn't well verse in soldering and the like back then. And I had to compromise on the gallery wire because the one I wanted was sold out at every haunt I usually visit in the Diamond District but in the end, I think this one was the perfect fit for it!

The stone is a Labradorite if you're curious. It was so pretty when I first saw that I fell in love with it.

It's not for sale because I had a lot of mistakes on it and I made it for myself since I gave my first ring to my grandmother. It's name is The Neptune Ring since it kinda looks like Neptune, especially one spot kinda looks the Dark Spot storm. And it is not in a set this time.

Done with mostly sterling silver, some fine silver with a Labradorite 15mm cab.
