Hello, it’s been a while, folks. With Twitter doing the long goodbye and Instagram being a mess as it is, I was considering coming back to DeviantArt but now they dropped this AI engine that uses Deviants’ art against their permission. This is a complete 180° from the stance they took from protecting artists from poaching from other AI engines. Even though they suffered a gigantic backlash for forcing Deviants to have to MANUALLY out of third part AI engines, they still won’t let you opt out of DreamUp unless you have to send in a written form and hope they accept the request. I don’t know if I will take down my gallery as this account means a lot of me and is a snapshot of my last year as a teen to twenties. Now I’m a few days from turning 39, I really want to keep it. Just going to say that if you see any of my art in an AI piece, it is against my will. I do NOT allow any of my art to be use in an AI piece without my explicit permission and I will raise hell if I see it. I DO NOT give DeviantArt permission to let DreamUp use any of my works. Until DA give up on this foolish errand, I will not be posting any of my art on DeviantArt. If you want to see my lettering, follow me on IG at anthophilize. I will be opening up a new art IG. I’m still debating if I am going to delete at least my jewelry off of here. We’ll see but I will be opting out my deviations. Amazing how DA managed to screw up just as bad as Elon Musk. It’s truly incredible.
